24/365 Thank You For A Healthy Body Waste Disposal System Early morning we have this morning routine of going to our toilet to dispose our human wastes. It is automatic for healthy people. I remember once my father have this operation before to remove blocked large intestines. He cannot fart and his stomach becomes large. Thanks for a healthy intestines and all this body parts for removing wastes from our body. 

 23/365 Thank You for Health Eyes It is said that our eyes is the window of our soul. I have an angry looking eye. I think it is probably true. Sometimes I burst in anger. Somehow I will heal overtime. Even with my angry eye, I can still see the world in full colors. I can see the light. I can see all God's blessings. Without the eyes I cannot see most of God's blessings. Thanks for my health eyes. 

 22/365 Thank You For The Strong Limbs I am blessed to have strong limbs to walk, run and do everything for a healthy person. Without my healthy feet, ankles, joints, calves and legs I cannot do almost everything I can do today. I think 50% of what a healthy person can do is because of healthy and strong limbs. With a strong limbs I am truly blessed.

 21/365 Thank You for the Friendly Papua New Guineans If you search Papua New Guinea in google, you will see bad things about Papua New Guinea, mostly problems in peace and order. I have been living in Papua New Guinea for more than 3 years and I hear and saw the problems in peace and order in this country. The information in google is probably true. But among the bad people here are also friendly, down-to-earth and peace-loving people. I am blessed to know some of them. And one of these is a lady Papua New Guinean, who actually saved me from one accident in work place where I slipped on the floor and my head hit the ground knocked me out. This lady is the one who came to my rescue and woke me up from unconsciousness. Thank You for these people.

 20/365 Thank You for the Sustaining Water We all know water is a necessity of life. Even for space scientist, they explore the universe for existence of water in other planets in search of life in other planets. Everyday we use water specially for drinking and cleaning. In the place where I work and live in we get water from deep wells and from utilities where water is sourced from rivers. We may not appreciate water daily but we are blessed to have bountiful water. In some parts of the world, water is scarce and people die because they have no water. With sustaining water we are truly blessed.

 19/365 Thank You for a Beautiful Sky Early morning as I passed by our motor pool area I lifted my eyes and saw a beautiful sky. Based on my science knowledge when we look at the sky we are actually gazing at the far extents of the universe, the limitless extents of God's creation. The All Power of God extends to all nature and limitless extents of the universe, to infinity. A beautiful sky also is a sign of a good weather for the day. The clouds also made different beautiful shapes following the law of nature. Seeing also a beautiful sky means our sense of sight is all very good. Not like the blind who is in total darkness. I thank the Lord for this great blessing to see the morning's beautiful sky.

 18/365 Thank You for Your Protection Yesterday, we felt an earthquake early morning. It is 7.0 magnitude somewhere near but it is weaker in our area. The earth shakes but we are protected by God's spirit. In this delicate world, many things caused by natural events can happen and we are being protected by God's hand from harm. Trusting God in His protection, we get used to living in this earthquake-prone country because only He can protect us.

 17/365 Thank You for the God-centered Company I think this is one of the greatest blessing I have right now. It is rare for companies to put too much attention to Godly things. We have Pray and Worship team lead by the top management. A number of Pastors are employed in the company to focus on Gospel ministry and bringing God in work.Pastors are going around work areas every week to bring the Gospel to all workers.  

 16/365 Thank You for the Good Bosses For workers like me good bosses are real blessings. For one, my manager is our vocalist or singer in our band. This shows the down to earth and humanly characteristic of a good person. They do not regard themselves to highly and for maintenance field work, he possesses the heart and mind to get things done and uplift the spirit of the team. Next are our top bosses. Our top boss, the General Manager plays tennis with us. He promotes the sports we love. Also our Managing Director who acts like our coach in tennis. I feel really blessed of having good bosses.

 15/365 Thank You for the Peace... Thank You for the Peace (no war) in the country I am right now. With many countries now in war, Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Lebanon and others having no war is a blessing. If we could imagine how the people are living in these war places. A torture place for the civilians and soldiers alike. They are fighting for no cause, definitely destroying life because of hatred and evil in the hearts of men. 

 14/365 Thank You for the Medical People/Practitioner I have malaria today, a disease, that come and go in body for at about once a month. Without the medicine invented by medical scientists, there is no way to cure it. Without the laboratory analyst to check my blood, nobody will see the parasite under the microscope. And without the nurse or the doctor, nobody to prescribe the medicine. God assigned these medical people/practitioners to save the world from diseases.

 13/365 Thank You for the Air we breathe... God created man by His Breathe. Breathing is the sign of life. I am lucky to have a clean breathing air to provide oxygen to the lungs and the whole body. We can breathe because the air is clean and we are alive.

 12/365 Thank You for Pleasant Co-workers... As a family man, I live day by day to support my family by working for a company to earn a living. To work with a group of people that do not cause stress and bad feelings is a great blessing. Imagine most of my workers are from the far south of our country and I am one of the three living in the north. I am lucky to have co-workers that are down to earth and pleasant to work with.

 11/365 Thank You for the start of a New Week Today is Monday and a special day to start a new week. If a morning is a reset of a new day, Monday is like a reset of a new week. Today is a start of new week's blessings. Why a new start is special? This a new week to accomplish plans that you have not accomplished the previous week. It is like a new chance to complete improvements and finish goals. 

 n/365 Thank You for our Very Good Son... This is another blessing which I should be thankful everyday. I am lucky to have a son which represent me in my home country like my alter ego or better. I can trust him in doing important things for the family in behalf of me. He studies diligently and better than me in many aspects. 

n/365 (n=1 to infinity) Thank You for My Dear Wife This is n/365 (where n=1 to infinity) or should be everyday. She is always a blessing, a partner for me everyday. She is here in all occasions during peaceful and happy times and during not so peaceful times :-) What special about her is she is the one who awakened the happy part in me. She also can handle me when I'm bad. She can hear me out on anything I say about all things. Thank You for my Wife. 

 8/365 Thank You for the youthful strength to play and exercise :-) I work night shift this week and for 3 consecutive days I was able to play and practice lawn tennis after coming off from work, playing for 30 mins to 1 hour. My  body remains active and physically fit to play this sport and also 3-ball basketball. I do not sustain bad and long injuries and do not tire easily also. I am nearing 50 years old and I thank God for keeping my body healthy and strong to play sports I love for exercise and recreation.

 7/365 Thank You for the Mess Cleaners... 1:12am, I was eating my lunch (as we call it for night shift duty personnel). While I was eating, a mess cleaner is mopping the floor. She looked a little sad. I asked her "How are you? She wondered a little bit about my question. I told her, I was only asking if she is OK. She told me yes she is OK but she told me she is sick, sick of malaria. This lady cleaner, I forgot her name, is a cleaner I joke with sometimes, telling her that she is becoming fat. She told me she is becoming thin now because she is sick. Even if she is sick, she is doing her job as best as she can. Once in a while, I had this small conversation with our mess cleaners. The small chat I had with them also brings me a way to pass time specially while I am eating in our mess. These people, the mess cleaners, or people we can call as servants, are blessings also to us. They accept dirty/cleaning jobs  that we, honestly speaking, do not want to do by ourselves. They g...

 6/365 Thank You for the Day's Egg and Rice Breakfast, always a delight... Simple it may seem, a scrambled egg and rice breakfast for me is a delight. Every day seems to repeat itself but every time scrambled egg or any fried egg is served it makes me hungry. Egg as a food is a blessing. It fills my stomach and satisfies my taste buds. This simple God's creation is the easiest food to prepare.

 5/365 Thank You for an Early Morning Sound of Laughter About 4am in the morning, we are in the mess hall taking our breaktime. After eating bread or whatever the chief cook prepared for us and finishing drinking coffee I usually lie down in the lounge sofa to stretch my back. Then comes three of our lady colleagues to take also their breaktime. One of the ladies I talked about a joke the other night. And she remembered the joke and shared also to the other ladies and they laughed. The ladies are in a good mood to laugh and it made me smile also. This situation reminds me that people come along to make us smile. Sometimes people in a jolly or happy mood comes to make us smile. This is a blessing.

4/365 Thank You for an Early Morning Music Chat 5 am I had my early breakfast in our mess hall, just coming from the factory to assist a co-worker in troubleshooting some machine electrical problem. I sat on the front table nearest to the television. A coworker came from behind to take also his breakfast. He was our drummer, a member also of our company band. He sat on the back table near the food station. I joined him in his table. From nothing, we suddenly talked about reggae. As we were chatting about reggae, my manager also came to take also his breakfast. My manager, the singer of the band, also a music lover, also talked about reggae. I enjoyed the small chat about music, one of my passions. This simple and short time to chat, I consider also as a blessing. It brought happiness to me in a short time to talk about a passion I love.

 3/365 Thank You for a Mother's Smile Late in the evening yesterday, the caretaker of my mother sent us pictures of my mother. She told me that my mother requested her to take pictures of her to send to us. My mother is smiling, an innocent smile, an assuring smile. Like telling me that everything will be alright. Like telling me I am doing good. I love my mother. She is a reflection of God's work on us, that God is the source of our strength and our life.

2/265 Thank You for the New Morning, ready to Experience a New Day! The morning itself is a blessing for all of us. It is a like a reset of man's daily existence on earth. It is like a God's calling for us to start a new day. It is the time when God's gives His early blessings to sustain us for the rest of the day.

 1/365 Thank You for A Good Night Sleep... I work in a manufacturing environment, where I have shifting schedule. I work day shift for one week and night shift for one week, alternately. Having a good night sleep is a real blessing for me since I encounter sleepless days when I usually work night shift. Specially here, we are working in a country where malaria is common, where this sickness strikes when the body's immune system weakens. A good night sleep refreshes my mind and rejuvenates my strength to continue my daily living.

 365 Days of Thankful Mornings From this day, I will start a 365 days of thankful mornings.  I am tired of all negativities that come in my way. I am generally a happy person and always believe that God surrounds us with free blessings, that do not involve money (or a lot of money). I hope and pray that I can complete all this all the way for 365 days. This means being open and aware of God's unique blessings every morning for 365 days. Be with me in this journey.
